Today's Scouting can provide a structure for youth growth. Scouting programs provide the opportunity for youth to:
- Grow in their faith via Scouting's Religious Emblems Program - Learn leadership skills by being presented with age appropriate opportunities - Learn interpersonal skills by being part of a small group, the patrol, within a larger group, the troop under the mentorship of caring adult leaders. Presenters: Ed Milbrada, St Anne/ Scouting VP Brotherhood of St Andrew, Southern Ohio Mel Chapman

In this workshop we will share how you can create a welcoming, loving and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ people in your church. Topics will include using inclusive language, not assuming gender, pronouns, what is okay to discuss (and what isn't), and some of the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ communities. Finally, we'll share tips & tricks to be more visible and active in the community so that our LGBTQIA+ siblings know how to find your church and that they would be embraced your parish.
